The applicant, Erin Alaine Davidson, owns a strata lot in the respondent strata corporation, Strata Plan KAS1244. After a toilet in her strata lot was clogged, she asked the strata to arrange for a plumber to attend and unclog it, since she believed the clog was in common property pipes. The strata arranged for, and paid, a plumber $306.23 to unclog the pipe. The strata then charged Mrs. Davidson for the plumber’s cost.
